Fallout 3 Scenario

Like I said back in the old forum, I wanted to continue with my Fallout 3 scenario. Any help would be great, as it is going to be hard to make an AoM version of Fallout 3(and or New Vegas later).

I don't know this game but I can give some advices on eyecandies. Actually these screeshots has been found in Google, maybe this will help you and gives you ideas for the eyecandy :





Maybe try to use current objects of AOM and play with the lightings, sun, ambiant, inclination etc...

Yeah! Good ideas! Although they may be from different Fallout games, maybe it would be a good idea to make a Fallout scenario and incorporate Fallouts 1, 2, and 3 into it.

Handheld games never have as good graphics... unless you count the PSP 2 which is coming out

Why are they even making the PSP 2?

It got raped for three years straight by the DS.

and now there's the 3DS, which admittedly isn't a huge improvement, but it beats out all of the PSP's little gimmicks and will still have the better games :/

PSP2 will be touchscreen as well, with a huge HD-Bluray screen (Nearly twice that of a HTC) can do pretty much the same as an iphone can with its apps... BUT! It can play 3d games again, do blu-ray games and will have exclusives coming from the big companies, such as SONY, EA, Ubisoft and more, pretty much the same companies giving exclusives, however it uses almost the same engine as the PS3, however it is made so that it can work on a console of its size without failure, and to run for a decent time (Same as the PSP 3000)

basically the old PSP should have beat the DS, it had so much against it, however the new PSP has pretty much double the capabilites than the last, it will also have 2 joysticks, and can be used as a controller for some PS3 games!

How will the 3D work and how much will it cost?

I really think that no matter how good it is the 3DS will win


They can ramble about exclusives all they want but in the end Nintendo is the king o handheld games. In fact the PS3 also took forever to get some good games and is still the clear loser of the current gen.

It's the wrong audience. The Sony lineup focuses on the "hard core" gamers which has devolved into a few basic shooters. They've oversimplified their market on the console machines to steal from their handheld markets. In the end no one cares for the small handheld shooters.


I don't really know what nintendo's angle is. My guess is really just to pump out their solid franchises and make the rest filler. It works for me. Pokemon, and maybe the occasional Mario/Zelda/Castlevania are all id ever want on a handheld.

Also, game engines are built into the games, not the consoles

It makes no sense that it runs on the PS3 engine because there is no PS3 engine...

anyway, where I live the PS3 is by a mile winning, I have over 200 friends of mine with a PS3 compared to a mere 7 with an Xbox! only 2 have wiis... so where I live the PS3 is by a mile the winner, alot of people where I live stuck with PS, and Im glad i did, i would never of had Gran turisimo, some of the exclusive Assassins creed: Brotherhood missions and the Resistance series to play, I dislike Halo, but I like resistance due to the way its set out and the fact you can aim down the barrel (UNLIKE HALO!)

Okay now I need somme suggestios on what to put in the game.

First, we need to know if this will be SP or MP.

Personally I would prefer a singleplayer version of this, but A multiplayer would work too

Multiplayer would be a cool idea. I would like to have free roaming, and at least 3 players starting from Vault 101. Then after you leave the vault, the players can decide whether to kill each other, team up, or go it alone. And I am also going to put in some characters from Fallout New Vegas(I.E NCR troops, Leigon troops ect.) that way if you ally with the Brotherhood of Steel, the NCR is your ally(this is the good Brotherhood that save lives) or if you ally with the Outcasts the NCR is your enemy ect. Now who wants to trigger the big stuff(multiplayer triggers and faction triggers), and eyecandy? I'm going to do the map design and or some triggers.

Yes I know the Brotherhood is an enemy of the NCR, but, the Capital Wasteland version doesn't go by the Elder's ideals back west, so I thought that they would be allies(that's why the Outcasts are enemies with them, because they live by the western ideals of the Brotherhood).

Yeah I have to restart the whole map now. My laptop got a virus and I couldn't saave any of my AOM files.

Couldn't you just re download it on the Aom heavan site?

No I started making a different one that's better than the first. It's going to be bigger to.

I'll help if you want. I could do eyecandy. I've been really busy lately because I'm taking a bunch of big tests in school and i've been playing Gmod and Minecraft. When I'm free I'll work on it if you'd like.

How are you with connecting Play Dialogs? Do you think this should be announced on AOM?

Connecting what?? I don't think you should announce it just yet, you should wait until you have atleast 1/4th of it done

The Play Dialog triggers for dialog in cinematics. I'm terrible with connecting them, but am good enough in cinematics.
